Come one, come all: support grassroots green sustainability efforts and independent filmmaking in your own backyard!
The Sust Enable project is one woman's attempt to live a 100% environmentally sustainable lifestyle for three months, and to document that process for an educational short episode series on the Internet.
The mission of Sust Enable is to educate and empower people to take the issue of environmental change (EC) into their own hands by providing easy-to-understand instruction about modifying one's lifestyle to be 100% sustainable.
The Sust Enable project is currently short on post-production funds. Help the critical story of Sust Enable reach the audience it deserves!
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22 (EARTH DAY!)
This event will feature:
* free food
* a silent auction (win gift certificates, artwork, and more!)
* musical/poetry performances
* an exclusive screening!
At 7 PM:
Enjoy POETRY by--
* Jason Kirin
* Renee Alberts
Enjoy MUSIC by--
* She Feels Like Pittsburgh
* The Committee For Getting Attention
At 8 PM, the main event:
the Pittsburgh debut screening of the Sust Enable Project!
Program:
1) Intro/overview of Sust Enable (extended trailer)
2) "Introduction"
3) "Shelter"
4) "Transportation"
5) Exclusive SNEAK PEEK of the Sust Enable documentary!
Following the screening, there will be an informal question and answer session with the producer/director, Caroline Savery. Following that will be an open discussion and networking opportunity about sustainability in Pittsburgh.

***Due to a mistake at the station, the episode of Prosody on which i am a guest did not air tonight, but will be broadcast next week, Tuesday, April 21, at 7pm.***
Prosody is WYEP's weekly show featuring the work of poets and writers, hosted by poet Jan Beatty.
The show is a half-hour reading and interview, and was a blast to tape.
It airs at 7 pm on 91.3 fm.
You can also stream the station live at wyep.org, and it will be podcasted within a month or so.
